A few months back, I realized too late that I was going to be missing the first Lebowski Fest set for Chicago. It was right down the road from my place and I’ve been a relatively close follower of this event for years, so it really bummed me out that I would miss one close to home.

I vowed to make sure that I wouldn’t miss the next one, and so I signed up on the newsletter and planned on paying close attention to their next email. And on that next email, the message included a little nugget in their last newsletter that led me to believe that they would be hosting a fest out on the West Coast. Sure enough, I got the email today that confirmed that the next festival would be right here in my new home, San Francisco.

After much pleading from the Bay Area Achievers, we are pleased to announce that the very first Lebowski Fest San Francisco will be held on September 5th & 6th!

The Opening Party/Movie Screening will be at The Mezzanine and the bowling will be held at the Classic Bowling Center the next day.

This will probably be the only Lebowski Fest on the West Coast this year. Bands and special guests TBA.

I’m definitely going to be there for this. Who’s with me? Tickets go on sale on Fri., June 27th at 10am.

    Lebowski!!!!

I love that movie. It kept me in good company right after a format flip at a rock station I was on caused everyone to be fired.

All I had for about a month was White Russians and The Big Lebowski.

Hope things are well with you Justin.
